Sabbath Worship Experience | The Kingdom of Heaven is Like...New and Old

I always love looking at the deleted scenes of a favorite movie once it comes to home video. Or even viewing the director’s cut of a film. It’s the opportunity of seeing more what I loved. With every preaching series I do, it is inevitable that there are points or entire sermons I skip due to time. However it is very rare that I have the opportunity to go back and preach a sermon that was left on the cutting room floor. This Sabbath I get to do precisely that. Jesus concludes His series of parables with a curious statement Matthew 13. I chose not to include it originally because it didn’t begin with the familiar, “The kingdom of heaven is like…” But, it does conclude the series of parables so I’m preaching it. Yes, the series isn’t quite over!
